Genesis 6:5-8

5And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6And the LORD was sorry that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart.

7And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for I am sorry that I have made them.

Noah’s Faith

8But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

Walking in the favour of GOD is, GOD’s approval, support, acceptance, provision, divine energy and joy. His sense and presence in our life, His guidance and direction.

He sensed GOD’s presence in his life in a special way.

Favour of GOD is evident by conversation, by character by conduct.

Evidences of favour of GOD in your life;

*You listen to Him, you learn how to listen to GOD.

Psalm 32:8-9

8I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go: I will guide you with my eye.

9Be you not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, else they come not near unto you.

*Learn to identify His voice

*Consistent with scripture

*May conflict with human reason

*clashes with fleshly desires – spirit vs flesh conflicts

*challenges our faith

*calls for courage – when GOD calls you to do something He gives you, power, strength, energy and know how.

*He speaks quietly – Holy Spirit is living inside of you and Spirit of GOD whispers quietly this is the way

*He speaks clearly

Spirit of GOD convicted you of your sins, you heard the gospel and got convicted of your sins, and GOD spoke to your heart that you needed to be saved. GOD does not stop talking to you once you are saved.

*He speaks personally about everything we are concern about or we are not concern about

*GOD is the Creator of the universe, creator of you, He is the one to listen. He knows everything about us and we should be consulting about everything to Him. It is our duty and essential that we listen to Him.

How GOD gets our attention:

*You feel restless

*a message from someone else

*a message you give to somebody else

*blesses us

*unanswered prayer will get our attention till He gets to the root of the issue, gets us intense

*disappointments, when we get disappointment we back off

*failure drives us to GOD

*financial problems

Uneasy feeling is GOD’s goodness, grace.

*sickness and injury gets our attention.

Walking in the favour of GOD is worth it.

We want the same things, same goal and same objectives as GOD.

Say with me ‘I want the same things GOD wants in my life. My desires are the desires of GOD’.

He wants us to walk in His favour for that I must learn to listen to Him. I want to walk with His approval, with His acceptance, support, provision, Divine energy and joy.
