Genesis 6:5-13

5The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. 6The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. 7So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.” 8But Noah found favour in the eyes of the Lord.

Noah and the Flood

9This is the account of Noah and his family.

Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God.

Sin – in Hebrew either a person sin occasionally or lives that kind of life.

11Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight and was full of violence. 12God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways. 13So God said to Noah, “I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth.

We listen, trust and obey GOD. If I listen to GOD I know what to do, if I trust Him I know it is going to turn out right, if I obey Him I will be blessed.

People who live in sin are not going to be with you or be your friend because you walk in two levels in light and dark.

The only security we have is our relationship with GOD.

Genesis 6:20-22

20Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive. 21 You are to take every kind of food that is to be eaten and store it away as food for you and for them.”

22Noah did everything just as God commanded him.

Genesis 9:11-12

11I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.”

12And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come:

GOD requires that we obey Him. That’s mean we must trust Him and GOD has offered salvation to every person who so ever shall call upon the name of the LORD should be saved. If you confess with your mouth Jesus is LORD you will be saved, if you confess and repent of your sins you will be saved. When you have Christ in your life you are not afraid of anything.

When you are a child of GOD, you are following LORD Jesus Christ. Everyone around you expect you to be different and spiritual. They see something in us different because we listen, trust and obey Him.

GOD demonstrated His love for us not only with rainbow with the cross.
