To walk with GOD is keeping Him at the centre of our thinking in everything we do, everything we say, every think we think, in our relationships, our finances, our plans and every area of life. It is the wisest way to walk.

Genesis 5:21-24

21And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:

22And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

23And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:

24And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

Walking with GOD

*Accept LORD Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour.

John 14:6

6Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me.

If they have not, either they are ignorant or living in sin and totally blinded by it.

*I must learn to listen to Him. Prayer and meditation is essential, He will show you things you will not find in any other way.

*Trust Him.

Proverbs 3:5-6

5Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding.

6In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.

A lot of things we do not understand, I will walk with Him whether I understand or not.

*Agree with Him. He is omniscient, omnipresent, omni power.

*Obey Him. He will require things you don’t fully understand. I will do what He says do it, when He says do it, and the way He says do it. The obedience is lifestyle for you. When you get up in the morning you want to be obedient, you want to do what He wants you to do for that day.

*Walk in the same direction He walks.

We are dwelled with Holy Spirit and Holy Spirit always makes us wise decisions because we are His children walking in His Spirit and in His path.

You cannot have the world friendship and walk with GOD.

*Stay in step with Him. He and I together. Don’t get ahead of Him. If I am listening to Him I will be thinking about Him, and I will be sensitive to His will. His timing is perfect. He knows all your future and opportunities.

Follow Him, trust Him, listen to Him, and obey Him.

*Love Him. If you love Him, you obey Him, if you love Him you listen to Him.

*Forsake sin. My heart clean all the time. If something stumbles me I deal with it right then.

*Pursue a life of holiness. Life committed to, surrendered to His will.

1 John 1:9

9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
