Right timing is very important to GOD in the believer’s walk.

Psalm 27:14

14Wait for the Lord;

be strong and take heart

and wait for the Lord.

*wait means pause, wait for further instructions. Remain in your present position wait on further instructions from GOD, LORD what do I need to do next? What is the next move?

It is active stillness in the heart of the believer.

It is directing our attention to LORD and waiting for His intervention to our circumstance in order to do give us instruction regarding what to do next.

It is waiting for a clear sense of direction or intervention of GOD.

It is wise to wait because often times GOD only gives us clear direction when we wait on Him. You walk in step with GOD, wait till He is ready to give it to us.

Psalm 119:74, 81, 114

74May those who fear you rejoice when they see me,

for I have put my hope in your word.

81My soul faints with longing for your salvation,

but I have put my hope in your word.

114You are my refuge and my shield;

I have put my hope in your word.

It is wise for us to wait till we have a clear guidance to make a decision otherwise we will make them on our own. When you walk with Holy Spirit it is easier for us to know what to do next.

We waiting upon GOD to intervene our circumstances.

*Often time the more difficult the decision is GOD takes longer because to make sure we know exactly what GODs will is. You wouldn’t run because you know that is what GOD told you to do.

*GOD uses waiting time to get us in step with His timing.

Delayed timing is perfect timing from GOD’s point of view. Because GOD has to get somebody else timing lined up with our timing.

*GOD uses the time to prepare us for the answer.

GOD always protects us, prepares us, GOD knows when we can handle it.

*Waiting time is GOD’s timing to strengthen our faith. We trust in the LORD. LORD that is what you said J

*To get our attention, GOD holds it off till our motive is right.

*To deal with sins in our lives.

GOD always gives us His best for us, only when we are ready in His timing, when we are ready to walk in concert (alignment) with Him, when He strengthen our faith and when He sift all those things that are not supposed to be in our life.

GOD knows what’s best as we wait He prepares us, He prepares others and He prepares the circumstances necessary to achieve His goals.

Patience is a very strong quality. GOD’s purpose in our life is to grow us up through difficulties, conflicts and persecutions. Recognise them as opportunities GOD provided in our life to help us develop patience for GOD to do something awesome in our life.
