Matthew 16:13-17

Peter Declares That Jesus Is the Messiah

13When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”

14They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”

15“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”

16Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

17Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.

LORD Jesus is eternal living GOD. He has no beginning and no end.

John 1:1

1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Colossians 1:15-17

15The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

Genesis 1:26

26 “Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness,”

LORD Jesus is with us, He is living inside of every single believer.

Isaiah 9:6

6For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Immanuel, The great High Priest, The Prophet, The Word of GOD, The Son of GOD, The Son of Man, The KING of kings, The LORD of lords, Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and End, The Judge, Ruling Judge. He is infinite, He is perfect.

Philippians 2:10-11

10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

John 14:9

9Jesus said unto him, have I been so long a time with you, and yet have you not known me, Philip? He that has seen me has seen the Father; and how say you then, Show us the Father?

John 10:30

30I and my Father are one.

John 5:19

19Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father do: for whatsoever things he does, these also does the Son likewise.

Matthew 10:40

40He that receives you receives me, and he that receives me receives him that sent me.

To know Me is to know Him, If you refuse Me you refuse the one who sent Me.

Romans 8:34

34Who is he that condemns? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

LORD Jesus made it possible for us to talk to the Father.

John 10:10

10The thief comes not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

He wants us to be His children with abundant life, strength and determination. People have goals, persistent, diligent, don’t give up and succeed whatever He called us to do. We have Holy Spirit inside of us. When we have LORD Jesus we have everything. Believe Him, receive Him, obey Him, get to know Him, follow Him, love Him, serve Him, and proclaim Him.

He is the eternal Son of GOD for you and me and for us to live in the presence of GOD forever.
