Guilt is a sense of wrong doing and emotional conflict that arises out of second thoughts of something we have done.

1 John 1:5-7

 5This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all ^b sin.

  Ephesians 1:7

 7In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

We have been taught wrong, childhood memory, our perfectionistic attitude, expectations beyond us, low sense of esteem.

Any feeling of guilt that does not have Biblical base is false guilt. Satan uses false guilt to harass GOD’s people.

Biblical guilt is a feeling of anxiety as a result of wilful, deliberate sin. Spirit of GOD convicts us of a specific sin.

Results of these guilty feeling;

-doubt; we doubt GOD’s love, provision for us, promises of GOD

-fear; fear of the judgement of GOD, GOD’s rejection of us

-desire for punishment

-insecurity

-Feeling inadequacy

-compulsive behaviour

-sacrifice for GOD; person tries to do something that is absolutely impossible to do.

-inability to experience the pleasures of life

-physical results, worrying, fearing

I am somebody special, made in the likeness of my LORD, I am somebody truly loved by GOD, I am somebody who is truly forgiven.

In the name of LORD Jesus Christ I reject these feelings of guilt. They have no Biblical basis, it is false, it is a lie therefore I refuse to acknowledge it.

I am a forgiven child of GOD therefore I have no reason to feel guilty. I walk in the light. Blood of LORD Jesus Christ continuously wiping out, making us pure in the eyes of GOD.
