James 1:1-8

1James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.

2My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials;

3Knowing this, that the trying of your faith works patience.

4But let patience have her perfect work that you may be perfect and entire, lacking in nothing.

5If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men liberally, and reproaches not; and it shall be given him.

6But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

7For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord.

8A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Faith is to be convinced of something.

Doubt mean I am not convinced there is a hesitation in my believing.

Unbelief is rejection of it.

Primary reason our doubt is;

Our ignorance of Word of GOD.

Our misunderstanding of who GOD is and how much He loves us.

Sin and guilt in our life.

The work of the Holy Spirit. He will cause us to doubt the sense of direction that we are heading if it is not the will of GOD by sending us signals this is not the way of GOD.

We get our focus on the wrong thing. Our focus should be on LORD Jesus Christ at all times.

Previous failure and mistakes when we are learning the will of GOD in our life.

Negative influence of others.

You cannot convince somebody of something if they don’t believe in Word of GOD.

GOD is absolutely faithful and unchanging. GOD has power and will to do His promises to us.

People who doubt are unsuccessful in their prayer life.

Everything is uncertain in their life, they live in indecisiveness.

We are to walk in absolute confidence and unshakeable faith.

We cannot enjoy life if we doubt.

Focus on GOD nothing will impact on you.
