2 Corinthians 2:11

11Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

-Temptation is a sin.

Temptation is an enticement to do evil. Enticement beyond the boundaries that GOD set for us for our good and security.

-We don’t fall into temptation.

We make a choice to be obedient to GOD always.

-GOD isn’t disappointed and displeased when we are tempted. It is not the temptation itself disappoints GOD when we yield to it, GOD gets disappointed because we are disappointing ourselves over sin by falling into temptation.

James 1:12

12Blessed is the man that endures trial: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to them that love him.

-refuse to yield the temptation.

-idleness, physical and emotional weariness, rebelliousness against GOD, emotional stress, attack us after spiritual blessings, separation.

-the more godly you become, you face greater threat from evil one.

If you obey by the Truth, the Truth will set you free. If we abide by the truth the truth will keep us free to serve and enjoy our loving Father.
