How often you pick up Word of GOD, you open it and read it for yourself? Every time you open Word of GOD He has something to say. Why not read it every single day? It is GOD’s Word, came from GOD, it applies to you, He has a message for you why not read it every single day?

Matthew 11:28-30

28“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

There are no disappointments in the promises of our LORD. He offers us privilege of getting under yoke with Him. When you think about your life today is there anything like a yoke on you? May be a wrong relationship that is not right, or a death of someone or some kind of yoke you feel in your life? According to the scripture He says come to me and I will give you rest, take on My yoke, learn from Me. Here is an invitation from LORD Jesus Christ to remove the yoke and to give us different kind of yoke. Which one of this word describes the yoke you are feeling?

He said all who are tired, weary, discouraged, burdened, hopeless, helpless, feel like giving up, exhausted, weighed down with a heavy load they cannot escape, come to Me. A yoke puts two things together. It’s you on one side, LORD Jesus on the other side. The two can pull better than one between the two.

LORD Jesus says put My yoke upon you, that means yoke yourself up with me, get your relationship with Me right, when you receive Me as your Saviour, yield to Me as your LORD, I bear the greater part of the burden you are feeling, I am with you in this. He promises us.

Most people troubles about something when they wake up in the morning, restless, dissatisfied about their lives or their relationships. LORD Jesus yoke sets us free. His yoke is easy, gentle. Most people are unhappy about something in their life. LORD Jesus knew all about that because He lived in a society with full of fear, slave and punishment, death, suffering, sickness and all that. He calls people to Him and He says take My yoke upon you, he wants us to get under His yoke with Him and allow Him to help us to pull through in life, help us with the burdens, heartaches and troubles.

GOD does not want us to go to bed in suffering every night, He wants us to be free. When He says come to Me, come to freedom. For He knows how troubled people are and how confused frustrated and hopeless. He says I will give you rest, take My yoke upon you. We are made to live with the yoke of Christ. He is our very life. He is the one takes on the load. He is the one who shows the way. He is the one takes on the burden. He is the one changes things for us not temporarily permanently. You will find rest for your souls.

John 4:5-6

4Now he had to go through Samaria. 5So he came to a town in Samaria called Sychar, near the plot of ground Jacob had given to his son Joseph. 6Jacob’s well was there, and Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well. It was about noon.

LORD Jesus did get tired. He had relationships and lots of enemies, so do you. You don’t have to bear it all alone. Once you get under the yoke of LORD Jesus, life is going to change. You will no longer be alone, He will yoke with you, He will take the weight. This is a spiritual yoke when you surrender your life to LORD Jesus Christ you yoke together. Trust Him He can handle anything and everything. You will find rest for your souls. You will eliminate the uncertainty, the fear, the despair.

As a child of GOD when you surrender your life to the LORD Jesus Christ and you are walking in fellowship with Him, you cannot face any situation alone. GOD says I will never leave you nor forsake you. A yoke puts those two ox together and they are bound together, they operate together. It is all about a relationship. When you have Him He promise to provide all our needs, He promise to answer our prayers, He promises to bear our burdens. Whatever comes in life you can face it because you are not facing alone. You are facing it with Him. He is the one we are yoked to. It is a matter of trusting Him. Surrender your life to Him, it is a decision you make. You have the load bearer, He limits every heartache and burden we face.

John 14:27

27Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

When you are living with the yoke of LORD Jesus Christ and trusting Him, He can take the weight of anything. I surrender my life to Him, I allow Him to govern my life. LORD Jesus said My yoke is easy, get under the yoke with Me.

First of all you acknowledge that you need Him. Say LORD I surrender My life to you, I am going to walk with you, I am going to trust you to guide me, because we are linked by faith I am going to trust you all the time. It is a choice we make. This is GOD’s personal invitation to everyone, come to Me take My yoke upon you, learn from Me how I operate I will give rest to your soul, I will make it easier, I will carry the load, we are going to make it.

You ask the LORD to forgive you, your sins, join with Him, yoke with LORD Jesus. By doing that you are choosing His way of life walking at His speed and at His direction, at His will, you yield your life to Him by faith, surrendering to Him and picturing yourself under the yoke with Him. It is a decision you make, it is a commitment you make, yoke with LORD Jesus Christ, surrender your life to Him and it will change your life. Join with LORD Jesus under the yoke.
