Conviction is a belief that you hold which you would take a strong stand for.

*Our Heavenly Father is there. Matthew 6:9 Lord’s Prayer “Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be your name.”

Heaven wherever GOD is.

*Our Saviour LORD Jesus Christ is there.

Acts 1:10-11

10They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11“Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

Colossians 3:1

1Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

Romans 8:34

34Who is he that condemns? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

*Heaven is a prepared place

John 14:2

2In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Revelation 21:27

27And there shall in no way enter into it anything that defiles, neither whatsoever works abomination, or makes a lie: but they who are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

*Our citizenship there. GOD will transform our bodies to fit heaven. LORD Jesus is our passport.

Philippians 3:20-21

20For our citizenship is in heaven; from which also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

21Who shall change our humble body that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working by which he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Do not get attached to earthly things.

*The name of the saved are recorded there.

*Spiritually we are already there.

Ephesians 2:4-10

4But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us,

5Even when we were dead in sins, has made us alive together with Christ, (by grace you are saved;)

6And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

7That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

8For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9Not of works, lest any man should boast.

10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 1:13

13In whom you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after you believed, you were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise,

Our circumstances will not last. I may be hurt and having a hard time. In His presence it will be perfect. Whatever going on now it will be fantastic one of these days.

*Heaven is where our treasure is.

Matthew 6:20-21

20But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust does corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

21For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Our treasure is our relationship to Him. For all the works we have our rewards are coming from Him. By good deeds, by obedience, by holy love, by our actions, by loving kindness, we do good works because we are children of GOD. It is a natural life for us, LORD Jesus Christ commanded us to do, it is being godly and holy.

Matthew 5:12

12Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets who were before you.

1 Peter 1:3-4

3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his abundant mercy has begotten us again unto a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

4To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fades not away, reserved in heaven for you,

*Our saved loved ones and friends are there.

2 Corinthians 5:8

8We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.

2 Thessalonians 4:13-18

13But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them who are asleep, that you sorrow not, even as others who have no hope.

14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also who sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not precede them who are asleep.

16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18Therefore comfort one another with these words.

By grace we are saved not by good works. The only way to get to heaven is by accepting LORD Jesus Christ as our Saviour.
